After reading this article I went and read this article at CERT and decided to look through my logs. It seems the Code Red worm tried to connect 23 times to my webserver. No luck though - I run Apache.

Here is a great story about how NOT to get a job. It should be mentioned that Matt is my boss at Care2. I guess I must have followed the simple directions (minus one spelling error on my resume - doh!).

Someone has finally put into words what I’ve thought for so long. A little background… Jon Katz seems to review a lot of movies for Slashdot (no link - they’re worthless) and everytime he says the movies sucks - run out to see it, I garantee it will be a great movie.

Final Fantasy (the new movie) is AMAZING. First check out this this story about the technology behind it and then go here to see the trailer. Finally you will want to buy tickets and see the movie. This is NOT a movie to skip seeing in the theaters!

If you haven’t noticed, the biography of Linus Torvalds (creator of Linux) is out. I’ve been slowly reading it where men do their reading and I must say Linus is just as good at writing as he is at coding. On top of it all it’s inspired me to move onward and upward in my quest to become the ultimate geek (minus the big beard). You can find it on Amazon here.
